East and Southern Africa

East and Southern Africa are best known for the amazing wildlife in their national parks and reserves, and rightly so. Iconic national parks such as the Maasai Mara in Kenya, the Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti in Tanzania are well known and offer the quintessential safari experience. However there are many lesser know gems for amazing wildlife such as the unique Okavango Delta in Botswana, Etosha Pan in Namibia, Matobos National Park in Botswana and South Luangwa National Park in Zambia to name a few. Other highlights include the spice island of Zanzibar, the highest mountain in Africa, Kilimanjaro, Victoria Falls, the bushman of the Kalahari, the amazing sand dunes of Namibia and of course, the cosmopolitan city of Capetown and Table Mountain. East and Southern Africa offers the chance to try your hand at the many adventure activities such as bungy jummping, zip lining, white water rafting and quad biking and to learn more about the local people and practice your Swahili, Setswana or Xhosa.
