Hiking in Haiti? Yes really. There is some wonderful hiking in Haiti. The Haitian proverb “Dèyè mòn, gen mòn” means “beyond mountains, more mountains”. Those mountains mean great hiking opportunities. Perhaps the most well known is the hike into Parc National La Visite set high in the mountains between Port au Prince and Jacmel. Overview:
